The Story Behind the Name: Macondo is my favorite salsa bar in Seoul. It is a tiny place that you have to walk down two flights of stairs to get into. One night, as I stepped outside to cool off, one of the guys I danced with said to me, "You dance like a queen." Of any kind words a person could have said, his really resonated with me. It changed the way I see myself as a dancer, a teacher and a person. To Deco I am eternally grateful.
